Activities:
1. Installation of the Robot
Wednesday, April 8, 2015
Today we are going to continue building this Lego robot. I've never built anything like this before so it's taking some time to do so.
2. Challenge 1
Friday, April 17, 2015
Yesterday my partner and I were able to complete challenge one successfully. Although we did encounter some problems at first as we did not really know how to connect the robot and program it, but fortunately we figured it out, which was great, and I had fun :D
3. Challenge 2
Thursday, April 23, 2015
It was a little more complicated to complete challenge two as we had to connect the light sensor to the robot and then slightly change the code. My partner and I struggled to connect the robot because someone had changed the name of it, and the code had been deleted.
4. Challenge 3
Thursday, April 23, 2015
Although we have not finished it, we are still trying to figure out the code for this one. We've been working on it for 2 days now but we can't get it right yet, but we're close.
(I'll post updates)

WE DID IT!!! We finally completed challenge 3
5. Challenge 4
This challenge involved the light sensor only. We had to program the robot to move backwards every time it touched a black line. It was a little bit complicated because at first we could not figure out how to make it move backwards not just once.
6.Challenge 5
For this challenge we used the eye sensor only. The point was to make the robot stop every time you covered the eye sensor with a box or any object. It was quite difficult because we could not figure out a way to connect the eye sensor.
7. Challenge 6
For this challenge we had to use both the eye sensor and the light sensor. The point of this challenge was to combine challenges #4 and #5. The robot had to move backwards every time it touched a black line and stop when the eye sensor was covered.
8. Challenge 7
For this challenge we had to use 3 sensors, the eye sensor, the light sensor, and the sonar sensor. The robot had to move forward and stop for a moment when it sensed a black line, then it had to move forward again until it got into a box and stop, after it stopped it was not supposed to move until the sonar sensor heard the clapping or a loud sound which would make it move backwards and record the darkness of the tape and the inside of the box, and stop. It was a little bit complicated because we did not know how to code the function that would make it record the data.
9.Challenge 8
For this challenge we had to program the robot to count 6 black lines and then spin. It was very easy to make it count but not to make it spin.
10.Challenge 9
For this challenge we had to make the robot stop gradually after it saw a wall. We knew how to make it stop immediately, but not how to make it stop gradually.
11. Challenge 10
For this challenge we had to make it go forward and turn right and then left until it sensed an object, then it had to record every object it recognized, and move backwards and spin when it finished. This was a very difficult challenge because we did not know how to make it turn in a nice 90 degree angle
